Why Iceland
Fire, ice, and a ring road that never stops giving. Iceland is where we learned that a five-minute detour can mean a waterfall to yourself — and that the weather writes the itinerary, not you. This is our base for waterfalls, black-sand beaches, and the slow drama of the south coast.
Iceland rewards the unhurried. We plan fewer stops than the map tempts you to, leave room for the weather to change three times before lunch, and always keep a thermos going.
